has made a living being funny for over 20 years. Working as
a stand up comic and comic actor, he has a modern approach to what
today's film and television market. Most of all, for the last 10 years he has helped other funny friends
and actor's hone, develop and book work.
His first pilot season in LA, Craig booked two pilots-- both
went to series; First
Time Out for The WB and MAD TV for FOX.
Most recently, his appearances include roles on Entourage,
The Office, Boston Legal, Everybody Loves Raymond, Curb Your Enthusiasm,
King Of Queens, MAD TV, lead roles in 2 different series
for the WB, leads on countless pilots, and most recently a lead role
for the Disney
Channel's Phil Of The Future, which airs everyday. His writing
credits include being a head writer for VH-1's Random Play.
His film work includes comedies and dramas; D
Wars, Careless, Live from Baghdad, Deliver Us From Eva.
Craig started acting as a kid in Omaha, Nebraska, and then performing in comedy clubs in 1978 while in high school. After earning a B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with majors in Theater and English, Craig went on the road doing stand up all over the US and eventually around the world, as part of an all comedy USO tour, in Turkey, Greece, Bahrain, Italy, Israel and Spain.
As a stand up, Craig has worked clubs, colleges and corporate events throughout the country. Craig made his way to New York in 1989 and hit the clubs and nearly every cable comedy show, featuring stand up. He has toured and performed on over 1500 college campuses and was nominated 3 successive years in a row for NACA's
prestigious Campus Entertainer of the Year Award. As of late, his stand-up has been featured on Late
Night with Conan O'Brien and most recently on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
When not teaching or coaching, Craig stays busy performing live in Los Angeles; Dead
Bride Running, The Idiots, Bob's Holiday Office Party, Girly Magazine Party and co-hosts Tomorrow, midnight's
every Saturday, at the Steve Allen Theater.
